Yucaipa Uptown Streetscape

VDLA was retained by the City of Yucaipa to finalize preliminary design concepts and produce construction documents for the Yucaipa Blvd. Uptown Streetscape Project. The project encompasses landscape, hardscape, street furnishings and lighting for approximately four blocks in the downtown business district. VDLA coordinated with electrical engineers to implement theme lighting that features several festive lighting applications such as “twinkle lights” in street trees, tree uplights, and accessories such as speaker sound systems, and electrical outlets for farmer’s market and other public events. A custom archway monument sign welcomes visitors to the district. VDLA completed design concepts for the arched sign and coordinated with structural engineers on the final design. The project also features two roundabouts with themed displays and landscaping.
