Valencia Park Elementary School

VDLA worked in conjunction with SDUSD and Valencia Park Elementary staff to provide a complete renovation of the school frontage along Skyline Drive.  Drainage and pedestrian circulation issues were addressed by providing a new site hardscape layout, including benches and colored concrete paving.  Drop off / waiting areas were shaded and buffered from the adjacent street with new drought-tolerant plantings with low-volume drip irrigation.  A new cafeteria loading dock, gas line replacement, and site fencing were also included.
