
Mauro Macias
Landscape Designer
Mauro currently serves as a landscape designer at VDLA. He is a recent graduate from Cal Poly Pomona's Environmental Studies program. During his academic career, Mauro's most impactful projects included designing gardens for communities experiencing food disparities and green space inequities, as well as working with an ecological preserve to conserve indigenous wildlife and educate youth on the importance of natural systems. Mauro is proficient in Adobe Suite, AutoCAD, Rhino, Lumion, and ARC GIS, and excels with traditional pen-and-paper sketches. He brings his ideas to life through detailed illustrative concepts and construction documents, effectively communicating his vision and ensuring successful project implementation.
