Senior Plan Checker, Landscape Architect

Elaine has over 30 years of project experience, encompassing institutional projects, multi-family housing and residential community development, park and recreation facilities, corporate office site design, and public agency projects. From 1986 - 2015, Elaine owned and operated her own landscape architectural business and adds immense value to the plan checking department at VDLA. She works with water conservation ordinances and the required landscape water budget calculations, parking ordinances, and sight distance requirements. Her projects include reviewing residential subdivisions, parks, industrial parks, business parks, water quality features, retail centers, and medical facilities.
