AWARDS: Merit Award from the American Society of Landscape Architects, San Diego Chapter

 

VDLA provided landscape architecture services to SunCal Communities for the SummerWind Ranch Community Development, a 2,600-acre project near Calimesa, CA. Services include; community thematic master planning, monument signage program, wall and fencing, streetscapes, extensive community trail and park system, community recreation center, maintenance responsibility and an project-wide water management plan. The project is being designed and constructed under the guidelines of the City of Calimesa General Plan and its vision for the area.  These efforts will result in the creation of a master-planned community, which fulfills residential, commercial, business, employment, public service, and recreational needs, while preserving unique portions of the site as part of the natural environment.
