Winchester Ranch Sports Park

VDLA provided landscape architectural services for the Winchester Ranch Community Development project, including design and construction bid documents for this 34 acre park. Work also included thematic planning for streetscapes, monument signage, parks, and open space areas, including eight Valley Wide Recreation and Park District maintained parks. Park programming includes a 35 acre sports park, an aquatic park, an event/farmers market park, a dog park, and an arboretum park. VDLA also provided design services for the Salt Creek Regional Trail that traverses through the center of the community. VDLA coordinated project design guidelines, maintenance responsibility master planning, and irrigation master planning with several agencies, builders and consultants for the 7,000 unit community development.
