Santa Venetia Park

VDLA was retained by the City of Chula Vista to provide landscape architectural master planning, final design, and construction document services for a new 7 acre neighborhood park in the central core of the Otay Ranch Village 6 community development. Elements incorporated into the landscape design include a non-programmed softball field and multi-use field, picnic areas, tot lots, two basketball courts, a tennis court, a park trail/dog walk, an informal skateboard and rollerblade area, and a comfort station. The children’s play areas and the park central overlook area feature wind chimes and “sound play” elements.
