VDLA provided park master planning in the Specific Plan, a concept plan update for ValleyWide Recreation & Park District approval, and final design and construction bid documents for Conestoga Park in the Winchester Ranch community of Riverside County, CA. The 5.5-acre park recently completed construction, and features hard court amenities such as basketball, tennis and pickleball; age-appropriate playground facilities; a pre-fabricated restroom and storage area; natural turf soccer field; meandering trails and picnic areas with shade shelters. A detention basin handles site water quality and drainage. VDLA served as the prime design consultant, and coordinated all consultants including civil, electrical, structural and geotechnical engineering. VDLA also provided construction observation services.
