VDLA provided landscape architectural design improvements to the San Diego State University CRB 117 - Geology, Mathematics and Computer Science Building. Scope of work for this project included an entry plaza, a slope planting plan to provide erosion control and irrigation design that provides adequate water with a conservation approach. The VDLA scope included site investigation, planting design, irrigation design, and construction administration services. An existing mature tree was preserved by adding retaining planter walls and shade tolerant garden plantings.
