VDLA has been serving as an as-needed landscape consultant for the San Jacinto Unified School District since 2016. Scope includes implementing turf removal and reduction plans across multiple campuses. VDLA implemented native gardens marked by the integration of drought-tolerant plants, strategically placed boulders, bus drop-off/pickup zones, and efficient low-volume irrigation. VDLA also established school gardens, fostering both educational opportunities on sustainable practices and the cultivation of vegetables and herbs.
