VDLA designed all exterior landscape and hardscape for the Road to the Cure, a site renovation of a research and lab facility in the Torrey Pines Science Park. The design included a new entry plaza with linear concrete pavers, a covered indoor outdoor event space, intimate garden rooms with seating and raised planters featuring drought-tolerant succulent plantings, and a serene overlook to a natural canyon.
