VDLA was tasked with providing comprehensive landscape architecture services for a 100,000 sf multi-tenant office building situated on Lot 6 of the Carlsbad Research Center. The scope of work encompassed concept design, construction documents, and construction administration. The project showcased a variety of impressive design features, including an inviting entry pedestrian promenade, an aesthetically pleasing entry plaza beneath a high architectural canopy, an outdoor patio/lunch court for relaxation, and strategically integrated water-quality swales and basins throughout the site. Centerpointe Plaza received accolades for its excellence, earning both a BIA Award for Outstanding Office Building and a Beautification Award from the San Diego Chapter of the California Landscape Contractors Association (CLCA).
