Ocean Hills Community, Irrigation Master Plan

Ocean Hills has 127 acres of irrigated landscape. The City of Oceanside anticipates recycled water to be available to Ocean Hills in 2017.  VDLA prepared an Irrigation Master Plan that identifies an accurate landscape irrigation water demand for both future recycled water and potable water meters. This Irrigation Master Plan also allows Ocean Hills to budget for anticipated future water costs in their long-range financial planning. The Irrigation Master Plan can also be utilized to more effectively utilize the central control system for water management and water conservation efforts. Work products associated with the Irrigation Master Plan include accurate POC and controller chart mapping, which can be updated when POC’s are corrected in the field as the Master Plan is implemented. The Irrigation Master Plan will guide future final designs for field construction projects for changing over to recycled water infrastructure.
