Luke Taylor is a landscape architect for VDLA in the greater San Diego area.  His passion for the outdoors and design started at an early age.  As a boy growing up in the rural outskirts of the Palm Desert area, he would often play in the desert and foothills all day long with his brothers, only to return home for dinner.  His passion for the outdoors and nature heightened while achieving the rank of eagle in the local Boy Scout Troop 76.  In elementary school through high school, Luke was passionate about art and took every art and drawing class he could.  In high school he took a drafting class and realized he wanted more.  The technical aspect along with the design was exactly what he was looking for and wanted to pursue it further and received his degree in Landscape Architecture from Arizona State University.

Now Luke calls San Diego his home, and when he is not working, you will find him with his family at the beach, hiking the local trails, driving around in his classic Bronco, enjoying his son’s band concerts or attending his daughter’s gymnastics competitions. Luke is always looking forward to the future and achieving all that landscape architecture has to offer.
