VDLA was commissioned by WHA Architects to design recreational amenities, entry monuments, specialty paving and hardscape, as well as all landscape planting and irrigation for the Highgrove Apartments in Riverside, CA.  VDLA worked closely with the architect and civil engineer to layout pedestrian circulation and coordinate a network of water quality bioswales and rock infiltration basins. The landscape favors “California-friendly” drought adaptive plantings and features a smart controller irrigation system that adjusts to weather on a daily basis.
