VDLA played a key role in developing the community theme, project design guidelines, a specific plan and master planning for the development comprised of single-family housing, multiple parks, a recreation center, a commercial site, a greenbelt, open space areas, detention basins and scenic streetscapes. Services included preparation of a series of graphics to illustrate multiple concepts of community monuments, streetscapes, parks and open spaces, and a commercial site. Additional responsibilities include master plans for maintenance responsibilities, street trees, trails, fuel modification, edge conditions, monuments, parks and open space, walls and fencing. Project scope also included designs for typical front yard landscapes, landscape budgets for all landscape aspects of the project, and coordination with planning consultants and public agencies.
