Landscape / Irrigation Inspector

Location: Riverside and San Diego Counties

 

In this role you will provide inspection services for landscape installation projects throughout Riverside and San Diego Counties with oversight by a firm principal.

Duties may include, but are not necessarily limited to the following:​

Under general supervision of duties by firm management, physically visit job sites to review landscape and irrigation projects under construction. Inspect construction and maintenance of irrigation and landscape improvements performed by contractors, ensuring compliance with approved plans, details, specifications, City/County/Water District standards, and maintenance agreements; coordinates and provides field direction to contractors regarding items of non-compliance, and document field direction with written Field Memorandum Form.

Necessary skills and experience include:

​Industry standard landscape construction and maintenance procedures for irrigation and plant material with an emphasis on the following: tree and plant identification; irrigation design and system installation, operations and maintenance; tree and shrub pruning: proper methods, materials, tools, and equipment used; landscape grading, hardscape, drainage, walls and fencing; safe work practices and effective public relations skills.
