Arbor Ridge Community Master Planning

VDLA provided master planning and thematic design services for the community of Arbor Ridge in Riverside County, California. Circulation elements for vehicular, pedestrian and equestrian uses were addressed, including commercial and civic use areas within the town center. The community has a rural agricultural heritage that is honored in the landscape theme with orchard-like groves of trees, split rail fencing and a drought tolerant naturalized landscape. Urbanized streetscapes in the town center are more refined, with furnishings and a more formalized geometry.
